John Wetteland Suicide Attempt



John Wetteland, the former major league pitcher has been hospitalized in Denton, Texas. Police took Wetteland to Dention Regional Medical Center Thursday afternoon after police were called. According to police John Wetteland was taken to hospital for a mental health issue.

Police receive a call from a person who may have been suicidal and when they arrive, Wetteland came out screaming police for help.

Wetteland was named the World Series MVP, on 1996. He spend years in the Majors, pitching to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, New York yankees, and Texas Rangers.
